The Pulsar® pH Down +4 is a proprietary formulation with the following benefits:
- Dry acid chemical is easier to handle and transport than CO2 and muriatic acid
- Requires NO double containment

What is Pulsar® Acid Plus?
Pulsar® Acid Plus is a dry acid pool feeder for commercial pools 100K to 500K gallons. It lowers pH, prevents scale, prevents corrosion and clarifies water without liquid muriatic acid or double containment.
How much muriatic acid does Pulsar® Acid Plus replace?
10 pounds of pH Down plus 4 equals about one gallon of 32 percent, 20 Baume muriatic acid. Dry acid ships and stores without the spill and containment risk of liquid muriatic acid.
Why use dry acid instead of liquid acid on a commercial pool?
Dry acid removes liquid spills, double containment and odor from the mechanical room. For a facility handling acid daily, Acid Plus is safer to store and dose while holding pH in range across a large pool.
