What is Pulsar® pH Down?
Pulsar® pH Down plus 4 is a dry pool acid for large commercial facilities. It lowers pH with 100 percent solubility, minimal odor and no double containment, replacing liquid muriatic acid.
How much muriatic acid does pH Down replace?
Ten pounds of pH Down plus 4 equals about one gallon of 32 percent, 20 Baume muriatic acid. Dry acid stores and doses safer than liquid muriatic on a commercial pool.
Is pH Down safer than liquid muriatic acid?
Dry acid removes liquid spills, double containment and heavy odor from acid handling. For facilities dosing acid daily, pH Down is easier and safer to store and apply.
Is pH Down fully soluble?
Yes. pH Down is 100 percent soluble, so it dissolves completely without residue that could settle or cloud water in a commercial pool.
